Raquel Castellanos

Raquel Castellanos is a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto. She specializes in twentieth-century and contemporary Mexican Literature, in particular women writers. She has taught a wide range of Spanish grammar classes, from beginners to advanced. Her passion for the Spanish language and culture and her teaching experience ensure that she understands her students’ needs and is a able to facilitate their learning process with great skill. It is her hope that studying the Spanish language as well as Spanish and Latin American cultures will contribute to her students' critical thinking and overall education.
