Model United Nations - New York
The Abelard School is a regular participant in the National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN) conference in New York City. This conference, involving almost 3000 students from around the world, is a simulation of the United Nations where each school represents a country. Students attend committees to discuss predetermined topics with the aim of producing resolutions. The closing plenary session takes place in the United Nations General Assembly Hall.
